How to Order Custom Padded Envelopes: A Step-by-Step Checklist

Ordering a first bulk run of custom padded envelopes is straightforward once you know the five decisions that actually determine your quote and timeline. Most delays come from missing one of these up front, not from anything complicated in production.

Work through this checklist before you request a quote and you’ll get an accurate mockup and price on the first pass.

1. Pick your style

Choose between the Standard Padded Mailer, Bubble-Lined Poly Mailer, Kraft-Look Padded Envelope, Small Jewelry Padded Envelope, or Rigid Padded Mailer based on what you’re shipping. Not sure? Tell us the product and we’ll recommend a style with your quote.

2. Confirm your size

Measure your product (or your smallest and largest SKU if it varies) and leave enough room for it to seal securely without excess empty space. We stock sizes from 4×6 in up to 14.5×19 in depending on style.

3. Choose color & finish

White poly, Black poly, Kraft-look poly, or a custom Pantone-matched print. This is a brand-identity decision as much as a functional one — see our comparison of poly vs. kraft-look finishes if you’re unsure.

4. Prepare your artwork

Vector files (AI, EPS, SVG, or PDF) print cleanest. No logo yet, or only have a low-res image? Send what you have and our designers will build print-ready artwork at no charge.

5. Set your quantity & deadline

Our minimum order is 12 packs per style, with per-unit pricing improving as quantity increases. If you have a firm in-hands date, mention it in your quote request and we’ll confirm whether rush production is available.
